I’m happy to announce the birth of a new music project in which I’m involved, along with my lifelong friends and former band mates Carlos Núñez and Germán Villén. It’s called Kover Sindykate, and basically, it’s a collaborative surface for musicians adapted to the COVID19 situation. The idea is creating covers of artists we like (from any style, location or epoch) from the musicians’ homes or rehearsals studios. Each musician records his/her audio and video takes, and we take care of the mixing, video editing and general production.Today we release the first video, the amazing John Mayer’s song “New Light”. In this Tik Tok uncertain times seems an insane amount of work, but we really love music and we think the result deserves it. I hope you like it! (we also appreciate subscriptions and likes!!). In this point, I’d like to thank Paula Khan for the creation of the logo and the general design for the channel, it totally expresses the essence of this project! Finally, I want to make a call to all my musicians friends: we want to make this grow, so if you’re interested on taking part in one video, please let us know! Hopefully we will find a way to do it! Hoy estoy muy contento de anunciar el nacimiento de un nuevo proyecto en el cual estoy inmerso, junto con mis amigos y antiguos compañeros de banda Carlos Núñez y Germán Villén . Se llama Kover Sindykate, y, básicamente, es una plataforma colaborativa para músicos, adaptada a la situación actual generada por la COVID19. La idea es crear versiones de artistas que nos gustan (de cualquier estilo, procedencia o época) desde casa o local de ensayo. Cada músico graba sus tomas de audio y video, y nosotros nos hacemos cargo de la mezcla de audio, la edición de video y la producción general. Hoy lanzamos el primer video, la fantástica canción de John Mayer “New Light”. En estos inciertos tiempos de tiktok, parece una cantidad de trabajo absurda, pero realmente nos gusta la música y creemos que el resultado lo merece. Espero que os guste! (también agradecemos suscripciones y likes!!). En este punto, me gustaría también hacer mención al excelente trabajo realizado por Paula Khan en la elaboración del logotipo/isotipo y del diseño del canal, expresa por completo el espíritu del proyecto!
